The Sixth and B Garden is a community garden located in New York City that has 80 plots for its 80 members. It was created in the late 1970s/early 1980s after abandoned buildings were demolished, leaving empty lots. Community members transformed one of the lots into a garden that now hosts various events. The garden faces challenges with lack of funding limiting events and lack of member participation making it difficult to keep the garden open for the public.
